Help for valued former 247electrical customers.

247electrical.co.uk – Britain’s leading online electrical retailer until it became a victim of the recession last year – was acquired by Spyder Enterprise Limited.

As part of our commitment to bringing back REAL service we are offering help to any former 247 Electrical customer who may have a problem with a product purchased from the previous company.

We will assist you with the manufacturers' warranty on most products previously purchased from 247electrical, should your product develop a fault. Unfortunately this exculdes all of the following brands, which were previously manufactured and owned by the former Company, of which the warranty is no longer valid:

- Micromark
- Coolzone
- Tosumi

For product Warranties (including extended cover):

In the first instance, you should consult the product manual and manufacturer’s warranty documentation for instructions on how to obtain service under the manufacturer’s warranty. If you don’t have these details then please contact the manufacturer directly.
If you paid for your goods using a credit card it may also be possible to make a claim from your card company under "Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act". Follow these links for more details on how this works.

While Section 75 doesn’t apply to debit cards, there may be something else to fall back on if you paid for your goods on a Visa debit card, or Visa credit card under £100 (otherwise go for a Section 75 claim). This is known as Visa Chargeback and although not a legal requirement is part of Visa’s internal rules. Check with your card agreement and card issuer for more information.

If you made your purchase by another debit card, in cash or by cheque you should contact the Administrator of the former 247electrical http://www.begbies-traynor.com.
Unfortunately it is not possible for the new 247electrical to get involved in any monies paid to Outkey Distribution (T/A 247electrical) who are now in administration.

You can also take advice from Consumer Direct, the UK government-funded Consumers Advice line on 08454 04 05 06

For products purchased & never received:

If you made your purchase by credit card you should contact the credit card company to make a claim under "Section 75 of the Consumer Credit Act". Follow these links for more details on how this works.
